Hi Everyone,
What sort of kilometers are you guys getting per litre for a V6 PRADO on gas. Try and be honest as I am only getting about 260 to 280 from 70 litres. I reckon I should probably get 300 to 350ks. Just want some figures to hit my gas mechanic with.
Thanks
Matt

I have a 99 Prado V6. I have a 90 Litre
tank (fitted where the main petrol
tank was). I will get between 450 - 500 Kms on a
tank (best so far was about 550kms, but not 100% sure this was accurate - may have used some petrol by mistake). I get about 400 kms if towing. Off road brings similar figures to towing, but a bit better.
I usually keep the subtank 1/2 to full, to give another few hundred kms if caught short without gas.
Hope this helps

Hi RD,
Is your
tank a 90 litre usable or a 70 litre usable. I beleive that
mine is a 90 but only 70 usable. You are gettingb great economy compared to
mine.
Thanks

It is supposedly a 90 litre
tank, that has about 85 litres usable. I know this sounds wrong, but I was assured by the installer it is 90 lts, and I have managed to fill it with a touch over 85 litres (once), but usually about 80 - 82 litres.
This did require a lift in the rear
suspension to maintain approx 30cms ground clearance, but all works
well.
