Arm swinging GPS

OK thats the best heading I could I think of for this question l I was wondering if anyone has used the wrist type GPS, no particular brand , and how accurate they would be , Because I have noticed my Garmin Quest when held in the hand and spun around a bit records the speed and distance although only a couple of meters but what about a jogger with the swinging arm, or a Rower and I mention rower because I sen it listed in the Magellan website , The recorded distance would or could be inacurate, Might be better to fit them to the head....like a dog collar or on a hat .

You raise an interesting question Doug.
However, in order to properly answer it I would need to answer this one first.
When walking and swinging your arm does your wrist actually move backwards over the ground as it swings back or does it only move backwards relative to your body?
I don't know the answer to that but would imagine that it could be answered by the use of one of those wrist mounted GPS things.
Is this a circular argument? Or am I just chasing my tail?

You make a good point there too. I guess the best way to find out is have one on the wrist and one on the head, Now I was going to say - unless you walked like pigeon but I dont think the head goes backward anyhow so I'll say like a drunk.
I been having a problem with my key board missing a letter , I thought it was me but ,anyhow I got the WD40 and the little straw that coes with it and run a squirt between each row of buttons , seems a bit better ,
