G'day All
I'm chasing a Repair Manual for a 2004 Turbo Diesel Hilux. I've emailed Haynes to ask if they have one in the making but no reply. My question is does anyone know if the Gregorys Manual No 521 (Oct 1997 - 2001) and Gregorys Engine Supplement No 311 ( 1 KZ-TE 3.0 TD 1997 - 2001) will do the job? Any other suggestions?
Cheers

G'day Dodgin,
I hope you don't mind, but I'd like to piggy-back your request. If anyone knows of a workshop manual for the current model turbo diesel lux (the one after yours), I would be very grateful.
Cheers,
Paul

G'day Paul
I still remain pretty sure that Haynes hasn't brought out a manual for either my model or yours. Just has a look at the Max Ellery website as suggested in another reply to my post and can't see anything that quite fits you or I. I'm guessing it will be quite a while before someone brings one out for your latest Hilux model but I would have thought they would be close for my model. I guess the search / wait continues.
Good luck & Cheers

Dodgin,
I think Ellery's have recently put one out for the 3.4v6 of the same vintage, so the TD should be there as
well. Pretty sure I've seen it at Supercheap (approx $40 ). It also covers the Prado.

Thanks for the ideas.
There appears to be a manual on the Max Ellery website that like the Haynes manual goes a good part of the way to covering my model Hilux.
Has anyone out there got any first hand experience with either the aforementioned Haynes /
Gregory manuals or the Ellery Manual No. EP.T034 (Prado 1996 - 2006) as it relates to a Hilux 2004 1KZ-TE 3.0Lt Turbo Diesel? I.e Are they close enough to what I want to spend the money or should I wait for a model specific manual to come out?
Cheers
Dodgin
