Does anyone know what the arrangement is with the
camp sites in the Gippsland Lakes area (Victoria) including The Honeysuckles, Golden Beach and Paradise Beach? I've seen a lot of references on the web to these campgrounds, but I don't see a phone number to call or anywhere to make enquiries/bookings. If anyone can shed some light on this, that'd be great!

Garbage,
I think those campsites are still a first-come-first-served type arrangement. I'm not sure how they faired with floods/tidal damage over the last few weeks. A lot of the dunes were erroded on
the beach side - looks like losing the LS Club house at Seaspray.
Try 03 51460278 for the DNRE at
Loch Sport for info.

Are these free
camp sites or fee based ones? Do you know what facilities are available (eg: power,
water,
toilets)?
Thanks!

AFAIK they are free, there is no power or
water, not sure about
toilets, I can check
Camping in Victoria tonight if you like.

Forgot to add, there is a
well grassed caravan
park on the foreshore at Seaspray, with all the facilities that you mentioned.

Thanks Shaker - just what I was after - a caravan
park with all facilities (for the in laws).
