I have received some helpful info from Ian regarding the abovementioned unit.
Has anyone fitted this unit to a Pajero DID motor & if so where was it placed. Before or after turbo?
Thanks for any assistance in this matter.
Vince

Vince,
I fitted
mine after the turbo mind you this is an 80 series. Do you have a port already available either before (in the manifold) or after the turbo (in the dump pipe)? When I installed the Denco it had a pre-drilled port in the dump pipe so install was simple.

Thanks David.
I will take off all the plastic covers on top of the engine & have a look at the manifold & dump pipe.

Have had one on my 2.8 for about a year.
Drilled and tapped the manifold just above the turbo.
Wasn't a place already available.
Before the turbo gives a better reading, but more hassle to install. :o)

Thanks John.
Will have a look on the weekend. It appears before the turbo is the way to go.

The problem with fitting it before the turbo is that you're going to have to pull the turbo out to do it so you can clean the swarf out from tapping the hole - a hassle i could do without.
