Check out the demo I did on my webpage just under the 4 GPS units, also if you click on the CD box picture just above the 4 GPS units , it will take you to the T4A website and you can see their demo at the bottom of the page , you will also find some links to some POI's

G'day Doug,

Okay, you already know how much of a neandothol I am when it comes to this high tech stuff, so bear with me if you can, please.

If I was to get one of the Nuvi 660s, I would also need to spend another $209- and get a GPSOZ CD + a 1GB SD card which is already loaded with the maps of Australia's roads, tracks etc? Is there anything else I need? EG: Somewhere on your site I read something about some sort of other map software called "Mapsource" (I think??). Is this true? Can't I just buy the Nuvi 660 (which I note has a SD slot in the side) and plug in the SD card that I get for my $209-? I also guess I need one of these RAM units to mount the 660 to the windscreen?

As usual, I as confused as the Irish labourer who is shown a shovel and a crowbar and is then told by his foreman to "take his pick".........

neandothol.. or is it Neanderthal, well either way I too was one of them when it come to using a Garmin , probably still am one ....lol..you say need , you don't have to have an SD card but if your going to get a unit that takes one then why not,but NO don't get a 1GB sd card get a 2GB sd card, you will ask why. well time you load it up with T4A maps , MP3s, and some family photo's , 4x4 photo's to show the mates a 1 GB will be full before you get half way, and the cost is for OZtopo CD - A$179 inc GST and free delivery , I say get the CD because it's ...well better to use ,Mapsource comes pre-installed in the GPS, the latest v7 City Navigator, that would with no problems guide you to your Mother-In-Laws place ....lol
Check my web page , click on the little micro maps, and read the info
