Could you all please let me know if you experience
logon (or auto
logon) issues after this time. I believe I have just completed the round of updates I have been working on. These updates are all background and not really visible however the entire
logon and cookie system has been completely rewritten.
If you are having major
logon issues (which I do not belive should occur) send email to info@exploroz.com.

PS: The ListUsers function is down at the moment and will be attended to tomorrow, so please do not feedback this issue.

Thanks Al,
I did see that earlier and forgot - Now I will remember to fix that one - The
My Home page is still an old technology page. I will add this to the tomorrow list.

Hi David,
I just had a problem when i tried to submit a post, it kept telling me to
logon, however it was showing i was already logged on...
I had to exit out of Internet Explorer & open it back up again & all was sweet...
Cheers, Brad

This can occur at the moment but will be gone once I get the submission pages updated. I needed to get the
logon changes installed to get to the re-write of the submission pages. Chicken & Egg but these will be worked on soon.

Ian,
This is now fixed - you are the only Vic user on the whole system to notice this as it was a bug in the timezone converter function. So all Vic users will now get the right time. Thanks again for the feedback and sorry for the delay has been very hectic with updates as you have seen.

You really need to allow session cookies these days so many
logon based sites use these and there is no reason to turn them off. Medium level in IE is fine as this allows session cookies and first party cookies.

Hi David,
When I log on the system is showing all the posts and follow ups as new.
Same problem as Al outlined above.
Thanks for a great website,
Geoff

Guys,
The members home page has been fixed - I have not converted it just yet so the times displayed are all system time and it looks the same. This is on the schedule.
However now you can use it again and it will know your last
logon time.

Hi David
Because my autologon fails intermittently I was going to ask what was wrong because I had to
logon manually today (Thursday 26th) then I noticed this post so this was my chance.
Regards,
John

John,
Do you clear your cookies from your machine - this will cause autologon to fail?
When/If it happens again when you go to the
logon screen can you tell me if your member number is shown and a *** password? I suspect not and this basically indicates that your cookies have been deleted.
Personally (and I visit heaps of sites) I never clear my cookies from the system. I do have a spyware system that will remove sus ones (which are fairly rare) and then do not worry about them anymore. I also do not use nor recommend third party firewalls, privacy systems and only run Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware products. I use this model for our network and a number of corporate networks that I oversee. Anyway let me know about your cookie settings and we can see what happens from there.

You are spot on. I do clear cookies every day. Now I know I am causing the problem I will just put up with it. Thanks for the prompt reply AND the website. I'm a real novice in the camper trailer thing and there is some great info floating through. I don't mind some of the occasional 'punch ups' either.
Regards,
John
