Hi all I am looking at being able to connect my mobil phone (Nokia 5110) to my laptop I have a data cable for it (Dick smiths $ 29.00 ) do I need to install software to use the two together and if so can anyone help me where I will get it from . The bloke at Dick Smiths was unsure but said it could be downloaded from somewhere on the net .(Now known as inspecter gaget by my grandson)Born to drive a 4x4 , not a keyboard

I dont know if 5110 is supported with software, cant find it on the site. But this is the site to download any software

Nokia data suite software is what you want, supports the 5110 along with a few of the others. Usually purchased as a package with the cable included. Do a search on the web. There are two kinds of cable for the 5110, only 1 supports internet connection, the other is for ringtones and other rubbish. email me....desertdust@yahoo.comHooroo
