Hi all,
Has anyone recently driven the tracks from Planet Downs through Arrabury to
Nappa Merrie and on to Orientos, Santos and
Cameron Corner? Just wondering about track condition etc. I am planning on going that way in August.

We drove through there three days after torrential rain just after the roads opened and there were trucks (as in semi's - not trucks as in what some people call their 4x4's) hahahahahaha,,,,,
well anyway,, bogged all over the place,,, forcing us to drive through the boggiest
places on the road,,, and we got through no probs...
So the bottom line is, if they are open you will be fine...
The tracks were in pretty good shape even in the conditions we saw them in...
They are normally quite passable even in a commodore... Which we used in 2001.. To do a similar trip..

The current road conditions report covers those tracks and indicates that that it is all open - when conditions change this report is updated to either a caution or close. Given that the status is open you can expect no issues. See

Some of my friends just returned from that area and said "the roads are a bl---y disgrace and lucky to top 50kms/hour average'. Good luck
