My cruiser has returned from spray painter, tray people etc, after Al gave it the chop...it's not quite finished yet as it will have a
camping box on the back (box has arrived from WA and is waiting a few Al adjustments before it gets in place), but this is what it looks like at the moment...more pics as the project continues.

Good onya Lyn,
Now that I've got a dual cab with large box, I would find it VERY difficult to go back to having a wagon. The difference is just sooooo much better and user friendly.
Have fun.
Cheers

Roachie, I reckon if Lyn called it a tool box and not a
camp box it would be more efficient GST wise ;-))) You carry bank files in yours don't you?

Remind me knot to
park the Prado in your driveway for too long next time we are over that way!
(Actually I would really really like it converted but we have a house to pay off now....)
Cheers

You will love it, makes life so much easier. Best thing I ever did, (when it comes to cars anyway), although I am looking at some under tray box's.
Charlie.

Hi Charlie
yes I will love it...Al's done a couple of others but sold them, and has done several for other people, but this time it was my car, looking forward to the Bull Body being put on and packing it up and going
camping somewhere...
cheers

You just can't beat it, we bought a 97 GXL cruiser brand new and had it chopped straight away for living in
Weipa, perfect for pig dogs, trips to
Cairns and a whole heap of other jobs that it has done since.
You definately won't regret the chop, why Toyota don't build them as standard is beyond me, any way
well done and look forward to seeing the finished product.
Cheers Dave

Hi Dave,
I'm quite pleased Toyota don't built them that way, as it's become quite a business for Al :))
They are fantasic, to have that space in the back but to retain a full size cab....
cheers

Lyn,
What is the approximate dollar cost to get the vehicle to this stage??
It may be worth considering when I get a 100 series.
Thanks Kev
