hi
my wife and i are heading up to the
flinders ranges soon and were wondering has anybody got feedback on the tour which is suppost to take place at the old
mine at
blinman.
i was there about three years ago but it was still being setup.
any info would be appreciated

We went there last August and the tour was a self led one with a bit of info included. Go to the
general store and pay $5 and you get a key. It is pretty short inside but a good browse around the top. worth a look but don't drive hundreds of kays out of your way to do it.

We were there last September. The key is to get into the shaft. You can wander around the rest of the
mine site for free. Worth doing but wouldn't take more than an hour if you walked slowly :) Of more interest to our boys (6 & 9 at the time) was fossicking in the mullock heaps. We picked up some nice stones with traces of copper and crystals.
