My fridge played up and froze my meat and it thawed and froze a couple of times never ever got warm was always cold. If at home and in plastic wrap I would toss but not sure about cryovac stuff as not exposed to air.
Eat ot toss???

Have a BBQ and invite some friends over, that way if you get sick at least there will be others going down with you ha ha ha

the old never refreeze meat thing comes because usually meat is defrosted on the kitchen sink where parts reach the temp danger zone while the inner is still thawing.
Cant see anything wrong with refreezing meat that hasnt left the refridgerator (as long as it wasnt left defrosted for quite a few days).
Cryovacced meat should be doubly fine.
Biggest thing you may find is the tawing freezing (slowly) causes large ice crystals to form which damages the meat cells which may release alot of fluid, Basically meaning you could loose more juice than normal and the meat may not be as nice as it might have been

Cook it thoroughly and it will be quite OK. It would be far better preserved than hanging in a
Coolgardie safe like the old timers used.

Your nose will soon tell you if it's OK.
I'm generalising. but bugs need warmth and air to really thrive. Sounds like they got neither so likely to be OK

A lot of people I know let there meat go green! Then slice the green off before you eat it.
Cant see defrosting kill you.
Cheers
