Just need a bit of advice on fitting coil rites to a gu patrol.
I got these from the States via Trucksprings. I have a 2 inch lift so also got spacers locally but am a bit confused as to where these go! Do I do away with the black spacers that came with the bags and use the new ones or do I use both.
If I use both how do they go top & bottom, on top of each other etc?????
Also do the hoses go at the top or bottom of
the springs??
thanks
Charli

Im not sure about the spaces but the hoses go at the top, make sure you
seat the hoses into the bag correctly ohterwise they leak .

Spacers that come with the kit go to the top as do the hoses. Lift spacers bolt into the bottom. There is a hole already there in the bottom. Cut the bolts down to size. Try to keep pressure in the bags no higher than 25 PSI

There should be a slot in the spacer. Face this up over and the bolt should sit down inside that.

The spacers I have do have 2 slots but they are on the side and at the bottom & they also have a hole at the top on the flat side but the hole is not countersunk or anything, so is the hole used to secure or the slots on the side?.

Just off the main thrust of your question, re fitting the bags - I too got some for the Jack from Truckspring (great people to deal with)..... put my bags into a bucket of hot
water for 5 minutes - they were so soft, that I was able to fold and slide them into
the springs via
the gap between coils at the bottom (vehicle was raised on the jack only) - while not having to necessarily remove my springs, it saved me a lot of time.
