The last one was the best by far in its new location at Sunrise
Park
There is no info posted on the site and me thinks they are running late or not having it this year.
So watch their web page here Site Link
or vist this site which is where events are often discussed www.perth4x4.net/forum/

Bundy,
Sunrise
Park has been closed down; however, there is the 'Mud Guts and Glory' event coming up on the 8 & 9 Sep 07 at Poppyaning (near Narrogin), if you are interested go to www.adrenalin4x4.net for more details.
I am going up for a look possibly on the Sat, I believe they have about 45 cars entered in the comp.

Karl ,any idea what happened? It was a great venue with all those gullies making it safer for spectators to get a great view.

I am not sure exactly - as I only heard it heard hand but I believe the owner of the property pulled the plug on it for some reason. Apparently a couple of guys had put in a lot of hard work to get the area ready.
There was also an issue with the current site for the Mud, Guts and Glory weekend apparently some idiot found out where it was to be held and went and tried out the site for himself and caused a bit of damage and left the gates open to the the stock wandered out - caused all sorts of grief for the guys organising it as this owner to was about to pull out of it.
It is amazing how one fool can cause so much damage - no wonder tracks etc are getting closed everyday.
Oh
well hopefully I will see everyone up there.

Gday Bundy, Where were you heading when I spoke to you on the UHF last Saturday morning, out on Pilot Duties??, We seem to be crossing paths every once in a wile.
I dropped my Mates off back on the track just up the road from the Nth Banister road house, No sooner had they climbed out of the X and got there packs on did it start poring down with rain once agene.
Just to rub it in I told em to stop compiling and think about poor me and what a tuff drive I was facing back to
Perth in my nice dry cloths with the heater on hehehe, at that point I had to quickly get back into the Rig and speed off to escape a imminent beating, thou not before some fowl words were directed my way LOL
Cheers.

Almost did pull of for a run on the dirt a few times, but there was allot of
water on the tracks and being on my own with no real recovery gear in the car it probably would have ended badly LOL

Jeese you're a bugger keep showing that photo of Rick. BTW has his Paj dried out yet? Guess your referring to the
sign just south of Bullsbrook? Saw it a few weeks ago also. Yep still coming down to Pipinining in Sept, looking forward to it. Just watched the current 4WD Monthly infomercial DVD and the extreme comps look insane.
