I have fitted a Rhino Boat Loader (for a 3.7m tinnie) to a current model Prado. The recommended set up left quite a large rear overhang in the longitudinal rails to avoid fouling the spare wheel (because of the position of the Prado rear roof mounting points). I was concerned by the resultant deflection under load so shortened
the overhang by about 400mm although it causes the boat to just foul the spare wheel during loading and unloading. Very happy with the system after this adjustment and confirm that it is a genuine one man operation.
