I'm trying to find out if Magellan MapSend are going to produce a CD package with all of the Australian States instead of just individual CD's. I spoke to someone at the recent Caravan and Camping Show in Melb who thought that one was on the way. Just wondered if anyone else had heard anything.

Yep. I was talking to a Magellan dealer last week and he said the same thing. Should be out in the next month or so and cost less than $400.

i phoned two weeks ago and asked the same question and they were pretty rude and said no so i bougt a garmin from johnny appleseed gps in
brisbane who had the best price in australia plus the guy was helpful and saved me money

I was looking to purchase a number of magellan meridians for work, was looking at them at the 4x4 fishing show, found the rep extreemly rude and had a similar experience on contacting magellan in WA. Have since purchased a garmin GPS-V and a Street Pilot III, they are great and the softwre is firstclass. A great companion to OziOxplorer. Will be buying three more steetpilots this week.

Maybe they're a bit touchy after the bagging they've received on this and other forums about their pricing policy!
