Kev recently helped me out on how to use the watched thread function, in particular the "view watched threads" on my home page.
Everything worked OK for a few days, but now when I want to use that function a page comes up with : Server error in '/' Application.
Syntax error converting the varcher value null etc. plus a whole heap of info about steps to be taken, none of which I understand or know how to do.
Is it something I have unwittingly done with my clumsy one fingered key board skills or is it something in the system. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Copy and Paste the screen you get into an email and send it to david@exploroz.com - I just tested the Watched Thread function and it works perfectly however there must be a data error in yours and the copy and paste of the error screen will help me.

In future please just copy and paste to email these yellow screens as the only person who can help with these is me. Thanks email to david@exploroz.com or use the feedback system.

Thanks David, but I have no idea how to copy & paste. It's no big deal, I can live without the function anyway. Thanks

Thanks Kev, My technical adviser (daughter) just dropped in & did for me what David requested. She did it a different way than what you outlined. I have tried a few times do do it myself without success, She will be back later this arvo, so will get her to run it past me again. ( & it probabley will go "past" me, but I am trying!! ) So if David gets the info twice, means I ve had some success, heh.
In the meantime, thanks.

Everthing is simple when you know how I suppose !! I use word & excel a fair bit, but there is so much I don't know how to do on a computer & I'am a bit slow on understanding technical stuff. ( No, I'am not related to any Northerners!!) But if I don't know something I don't mind making a dill out of myself by asking.

I am not sure about that blxxxy cat of yours with a slice of buttered bread tied to it's back either!! LOL

The cat and the bread land on their sides :))

Although I had another 2 cats to the pound this week and one wasn't real friendly either

Barry,

Please try watched threads again and let me know if you still get the error?
