dual battery on a d40 navara

debacle
hi, i was just wondering where people have mounted their second batteries?
there seems to be bugger all room in the engine bay.
a mate of
mine has his under the tray, but he had to make a special box for it and its a bastard to get to.
any other ideas??

Had the same problem and had to fit
mine in the tray at the back in a special locker I had made - easy to get at unloade - but a buggar otherwise

gday andrew, ive been browsing the
forum and it looks as though it may be better to put the battery in the tray, its not going to take up that much extra room.
although, if someone has a better idea, id be happy to hear it.

Had a look at one the other day and asked myself the same question. I thought one may be able to reposition the aircleaner and hoses leading to it............I am interested as a special box in the tray seems like a pain in the a....se

I bought a Sidewinder battery box with all the accesoories from derek Bester. he advertises on this site. If you put an AGM battery in it, you can keep the second battery in the rear of the cabin - if that works for you, that is.
