Hello everyone
Just looking for someone who may know the answer to this
Can a B (3.0 litre) motor be converted to a 3B (3.4 litre)
The Stroke is the same but the
bore is bigger, i know they both have Cylinder liners which are replaced when the motors are rebuilt
The fuel system is the same (injectors and pump)
The cylinder head is the same
i have tried searching all over cyber space but haven't been able to find an answer
does any one know if it can be done ?

Luch, not possible to the best of my knowledge as they are two different motors.
I used to work for
Seymour engine reco for quite a few years and this was a question that we were asked several times. and it was told to me that this was not possible due to piston type and con rod load factors.
Hope this helps as I have had a 3b was a good motor, if not a little thirsty.
