We were thinking that a last minute dash to the
Louth races might be a fun thing to do.
A web site with a little info quoted:
"
Camping spots with firewood and
toilets are provided at the race course, or you may choose to roll your swag out by the river, adjacent to the village"
Do you think we would be leaving our run a little late if we were to arrive on Friday?

I would reckon that the vast majority of people will be arriving on Friday.
There is usually a reasonable number of people from the
Hill who go and they leave Friday mid morining arriving in
Louth mid afternoon.
If you can get there before lunch you should be OK. Actually you will probably be OK if you arrive late Friday but the later you are the further it will be to the races.
Duncs
p.s. I think it could be fun.

Thanks Duncs for your reply.
Are you talking about
camping spots at the racecourse or down by the river?
