I picked up one of these from a second hand shop for $60 the other day. It is a nice little unit and works well.

I notice that it has another 20 user programmable receive only frequencies between 403 and 520 MHz.

What would be some good frequencies to program in for South Oz?

I have looked on here and googled but nothing helped much.

Thanks

Pete

Pete, I have a TX4400 and it has the capability to program additional channels too. I found that it was just a bit of a pain as you couldn't actually do much with them anyway.

I have a scanner here for fire listening but I don't use it for anything more than that. The good thing about the better sets is the Group Scan capabilities.

Yes, the TX6200 has that and the ability to drop channels out of the normal scan as well so that you have the option of two different scan sets.
