Help, does anybody know if an 1984 60 series Landcruiser with a 2F motor takes leaded or unleaded fuel????
I am about to buy this and I need to know.
Thanks everyone in advance

If it only takes leaded fuel, and we can only buy unleaded fuel, what do we do? Thanks Stu.

Stu,
Get a fuel additive from Repco/Super Cheap etc and add to unleaded when filling up.
Cheers Kev

Thanks kev. Any idea how much these additives cost? Petrol is expensive enough as it is without having to paying for something else.

Mick
You can use Flash Lube additive. It costs about $20 litre and will do for 20 tankfills. It is an upper cyclinder lubricant and added to Unleaded fuel will run your 2F sweetly.

I buy my flash lube from Don Kyatt @ Seven Hills
@ $30 for 2.5 litres
2.5 litres does 2500 litres of fuel
1.2 cents a premium on petrol cost
my 3F motor goes
well with it , no pinging on hills etc

2F's work fine on ULP.
Back in 2005 I wrote to Toyota asking this question. The answer I got back was:
Thankyou for your email forwarded to the Toyota Customer Relations Department.
We are sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
If your vehicle has the a 2F or 3F engine, it is compatible with unleaded petrol. We would suggest that you
have your engine tuned-up shortly after changing to ULP.
Thankyou,
