Can anyone tell me about the recall on the Prado rear wheels?
In the local sunshine coast daily today there was a write up about Prado recall for the rear wheels
Local paper for the sunshine coast QLD
Anyone know about it or where i can find out about here on the net?

I've always known that at certain times Queensland was 1 hour behind the rest of Australia, but 15 months? That's ridiculous, next thing you know they will be training their own doctors.

Which model ?? There was one for the 95 series, rear axles. I had mine done in April this year. Complete new axles, wheel bearings, backing plates the lot all through waranty. Cant complain. Regards Steve

Now this is a difficult question. Try a Toyota dealer. If they don't know about the recall, try the Toyota Motor Company of Australia. If you are the original owner and it applies to your vehicle you would have been notified. If you are not the original owner and did not notify Toyota of your purchase, then I suggest you do so now. That way they will keep you informed. There should be an appropriate form to be completed in your Handbook or Service Record.
