Had a pair of these fitted to rear of 2006 GU Patrol ST cab chassis (coils) - since fitting ute leans to the left 22 mm (even with driver only) . Checked under & springs are fitted correctly & correct side . King springs have advised to swap them over ..... has anyone had similar issues ?

G'day Lizard,
Just bought a 2000 GU wagon with a 5" lift. When talking to previous owner he said he had the same problem when he did the lift. The
suspension workshop put different sized spacers on between the coils and body to even it out. Not sure if this is "the way to do it" but just letting you know what happened. BTW, the wagon drives superb.

Try swapping them over to see if they maybe marked
the springs wrong !!
If it doesn't fix it. send them back....found they are good to deal with and claim they stand by their product..

I've had a problem with my old GQ , they replaced it but within a year it sagged again.
I know others that have had problems within a week and King Springs won't fix it because it was over 2"

Have had 5" king springs fitted for a few years and
mine have sagged around 1.5" to 2" on drivers side. Wasn't sure if this was due to a conversion to a TD42T or what but am due to replace. Not sure if I will go back to King.
Regards
David

hey lizard, had the same on my GU with 3 inch raised king springs sitting lower on the drivers side. ended up putting a 15 mm spacer to even it up, I thought because the sub
tank is on that side thats why it was a fraction lower .
