Heading off on sunday from cns as a first timer on the annual Qld xxxx variety bash this year. Starts next Thurs from Twin waters, sunshine coast, heads north via outback & coastal towns, finishing at Airlie beach 10 days later.
Vehicle is a 77 HZ kingswood wagon, and, apart from susp. mods, bash plates and a fresh paint job, is a great original example - 202(red motor) with gen 125000k on the dial! Spent most of its days out at chillagoe. Drives "as new"
So, if you are out n about in Qld, keep an eye out for the Black "Cairns Pirates" HZ, with the exploroz stickers!!

Cheers
Mark

Best of luck Mark,

Great lot of fun for a great cause. Sounds like it would have been a hard decision to turn the HZ into a rally car when it is in such original condition with low k's.

Regards, Trevor.

best of luck pnut, you will have a the time of your life.
If you end up in mackay on the way home we have a couple of endeavour boys here that are always up for a bit of rally talk.

Check this site - next year it is likely all cars in the Variety Qld Bash will be tracked - mostly officials and medical and mobile work shops at this stage. http://variety.skynetmobile.com/
