A query to Auto 'leckies
Have a Trailblaza fridge - 7 amp start up, 4 amp run, thru 6 meters 6mm (copper size) into Anderson plugs direct (Fused) from 100 amp hr deep cycle battery.
Being a lazy barsted - dont want to unplug replug etc, need advise re possibility of running on /off relay on-dash switch control into power cable - rather than an extra meter of cable to and fro switch with resulting power drop.
Any advice??

Hi, I run a 60 litre trailblaza with 6mm wiring & just use the fridge thermostat On/Off switch. It is plugged in all the time & only unplugged when I remove it from the vehicle. Can't see the reason for the on/off relay - IMHO you are just adding possible power circuit problems further down the track. Cheers.
