Well its on again! The second annual ABUG clean up on September 9th.

Meeting time will 8:00am at the Cataract Scout Park.
Baden Powell Drive (Cateract Dam entrance off Appin Road)

This year the Cataract Scout Park is our new meeting venue offering over night camping for Saturday night ($15/person) for all those travelling or who just like a camp fire and a yarn. Please note the are limited positions for overnight camping so you will need to book early to avoid disappointment.

On the day, teams will leave from the meeting point and travel in together, to complete a clean up of their designated/assigned area.

The clean up will last approx 3hrs then back to the Scout area for sausage sizzle lunch, raffle draw and maybe a game of Cricket.
The sausage sizzle lunch will be an ABUG fundraiser so we can expand this event in the future, so bring your gold coins.

We are urging everyone to get involved in the day, you never know, there might be some new club members out there.

Things to bring include hats, sunscreen, decent shoes, gloves, rakes and shovels. It is advised to bring personal drinking water and snacks.

All clubs must have at least 2 uhf radios, drinking water and a first aid kit.

There is to be NO alcohol, firearms, drugs or dogs on the day. You WILL be asked to leave.

Please register here your clubs intentions to attend or pm one of the ABUG committee;
Wayne- fool injected
Jes - missforby
Andy - wisey ( Wisebyname)
Mark - patute

Lets work together to keep areas open. We can't sit back and complain that it's shut, once it's too late.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks,

Last year the vollunteers cleaned up & collected 30T of rubbish on one day with another effort on Clean Up Australia Day 07.

Thanks Andy. I have'nt been down that way in many years. Since SWMBO is otherwise engaged, I might just be able to sneak off and avoid the never ending 'LIST' :))))

Andy,

I won't be able to make it again this time, but if you need some extra rigger gloves and 75l garbage bags. I have 15 gloves and 300 bags that I can clear out of my garage. I will see what else I can raid from work :))

Cheers Kev
