Hi All
was wondering if anyone could let me know roughly what it would cost for a new head on 94 Hilux 2.8. Our son (17 yrs.) has had the Ute for a couple of months, on the farm for spotlighting and local trips and has had the radiator repaired once but it has blown out again and today after its first long trip 200 odd Kms. started running rough and blowing
water out of top of radaiator when you put your hand on the top of the radiator pressure builds so am guessing a head or gasket. Was just chasing a guesstimate and I am hoping there is no other problems.
Cheers and Beers

Hi Claude
You'd be looking at $1500 upwards I'd say
For a much cheaper option use some chemiweld - Costs about $10!
I've used it on many head gaskets and it works extremely
well.
Just make sure you follow the instructions to the letter.
It can hurt your head any worse than it already is, so I'd give it a go
Cheers, Will.

Meant to say that it can't hurt your head any worse than it already is, so I'd give it a go.
