Ok can same one please tell me why the paj wo'nt start first go when the temp is 10 degress or lower,it takes me 3 to 5 times after waiting a couple of minutes between each go to get it started and when it does start it's like the motor is laking fuel as it builds up gradually to then normal idle.I have had the fuel pump replaced last year before my Gulf trip but it's all ways done this and only when it's cold so i really do'nt know what it could be.Any Thoughts, cheer's GREENDOG

We've never had starting problems with our paj no matter the temperature, do have to let her warm up for 5 minutes or so till you hear the idle drop and it seems to help the gearbox.
With the brains and braun of Pezza though it looks like we have finally found the problem we have been having with our paj since the fuel tank was replaced. It would start no worries, then not start. It would turn over and want to fire but it was like the fuel just wasn't getting through.
Looks like we have determined that the problem is the plug connection on the fuel pump, since Pezza gave the connections a bit of a rough up with sandpaper on the end of a screw driver to clean the connections, she has been good as gold, not a problem at all. Since October last year we have had these problems, spent a fortune trying to figure the problem out, two new computers, our mechanic pulling whats left of his hair out and it looks like the whole problem was a simple plug, (I always said it has to be something small that is an oversight.)
Maybe check that out on yours? Easy accessed if you just unscrew the plate cover in the back of the paj.

Cheers
Jo

Greendog.
If its a fuel problem, one of the best things to check first is fuel pressure. Get some one to show you the test point for measuring fuel pressure and then get a gauge and measure the pressure when cold. At least then you have some facts to work with. Eric.
