V8 Engine Conversion

I have a 98 2.8 gu patrol and I was thinking of repowering it with Nissan vh45de with four speed auto.Has anyone done this conversion as I was wondering what's involved and what the fuel consumption was like.I'm quite happy with the current set-up and it has everything that I need and use it just seems cheaper to do the conversion than upgrade and start again pls help Many Thanks Shane

Check out Outerlimits4x4.com theres a few on there that have done this conversion in GQ's..
Hazard even did the factory twin turbo version in his GQ.

Sorry Bruce, but Hazards twin turbo was a custom jobby, there were no factory turbo Infinity motors built.
