I would like to get some feedback on the reliability and capability of a GU 4.2 Patrol versus that of the 3 lit currently I tow a Cavalier Camper trailer and don't see that changing in the future. I currently have a GQ, 4.2 litre dual fuel patrol.

Roger,
I had a 3 ltr which decided to play up and cause me the most inconvenience in a very remote place. As soon as I got back to civilization sold it and bought a 4.2 ltr. The 4.2 is better geared for 4wd, will sit on 120km all day, has been up in the Gulf, High Country just to note a few. More than pleased with the 4.2 and have done over 100k without a hiccup.
Cheers
