I run them in 285/75R16 on the LC80 and are good on road, and not bad off road. Sand very good but as expected clog very quickly in mud.

Same tyres on my LC100 and same feedback too. Good value if you spend most of the time on the black.

I run the 235/75R15 on my Daihatsu. They are pretty good on-road, gravel and sand but clog up very quickly with mud though.

Just put a set of 31 10R 15 on my Cruiser last week, paid $149 ea from BJ Rockingham - gotta be happy with that price - heading down to Yarloop, WA to test them out off road this Sat.

Have heard good things about them. So far with the wet weather we have had here in Perth they have performed well especially in the rain just after fitting.

As the Cruiser is my daily driver I spend more time on the tar than off road :-(( so whilst I would like to get something big and chunky I have to be practical and buy for my driving.

I'm quite happy with the ones I have on the Patrol. Haven't given me any trouble and wearing well.

Had a bad run with my previous tyres which were Pirelli Scorpions ..... 3 of the 4 ended up with sidewall bubbles.

Just got back from a 9 day Simpson crossing with 3 vehicles. Only 3 tyre issues and all on 1 vehicle (not mine). He did 3 Coopers in 40 mins on 80+ km graded roads. That makes 2 brands I wouldn't buy!

Cheers

Hi Dave

I have 751s on my 80 series. They have done close to 60K and I may get a bit more out of them. I do a fair amount of dirt driving but no heavy 4wd stuff.
I notice there a quite a few vehicles around that have them.

Cheers

Howard.

Just thought I'd add that Maxxis makes great mountain bike tires (very popular about the serious and hardcore racers), and at reasonable prices too. Yes sadly mountain biking to me is like 4wding to you. However if their popularity on the MTB scene is anything to go by then expect to see more of them out on the road in regards to 4wd vehicles.
