Hi All
Any one out there who has one or have owned at sometime a Cub Drover camper trailer. I have looked at the KK'S. and PIONEER etc... But the Cub looks good value to me but you don't read much about them other then from the manufacture which can't be relied on.

Hi Peter
I have had a Cub drover off road camper for 5 - 6 years I have taken it all over and had no trouble at all we love it.
I thought the same as you value for money.I didn't want to spend as much as I did when we bought it new.I have no regrets.
Regards Scoof.. :-)

Hi Peter
I have a 97 Cub Supermatic XTS for 3 year now and I take it any where I can take my GQ ,It has great clearance. We load it up and get heap it. They are quick to set up. Be of the bolts that hold the canvas support arms at the pole that they don't have the thread to the canvas as they can catch and tear on opening . I have fitted solid foam over the heads to protect the canvas.
Would like to get the spare tyre around the back some how and swing it out.We have a day box which goes in the rear door for smoko's or lunch.
Will extend the draw bar soon for a bit more room on the front and clearance for car big door which some times hits the stone guard
Mine had a 3 way fridge in it,I removed it and built another storage cupboard to has been good for storage of all the food enough for a good trip. the fridge was good when staying in one spot also kept you warm when cold. But closed the vent off and dust free inside.
We are happy with ours and done a lot of punishing tracks works
well.
Hope this helps.

We've got a 1988 Off Road Supamatic which has stood up
well to over 20 years of rough roads all over Oz, still works as
well as new. The only problem was when the spare fell off the drawbar at 80kph on the
Birdsville track on its second trip to the
kimberley and tried to enter through the floor!!! A bit of silastic and a couple of flattened tins along with self tappers fixed that.
