I've trawled everywhere but can't find a viable aluminium roof rack for my '98 Challenger. Closest I can get so far is Rola Bars with a basket. - anyone spotted or know of something stronger?

What about Rhino Bars And one of their rack/basket setups. Very light and I've seen them in the woop-woop. I think there is a review of them on this site.
