One for the audience, what should I be expecting fuel economy wise with my TD 4.2, measurement in litres / 100 if possible. Thanks up front, still looking for a Barrett 550 auto tune if anyone has one. Keep the shiny side up

Best I get driving at 95 - 100 on the highway is about 9.5l/ 100k
Worst I've had (on the road) is 16/100k towing a 1400kilo pop top van into a headwind. (Can be much worse off road- it all depends.....)
I consistently average (unladen) about 10 around here- but that's very few short trips and very little "traffic" as the other half does all that in her 4cyl.- The GQ is usually used in light traffic on weekends etc., and driven with a light foot although usually at the speed limit- I just don't win the drag race off from the lights.
Cheers

I work on about 11 - 12 L/100 and up to 15 L/100 when towing. Have got 10 L/100 on long highway runs with a tail wind. Will depend on tyre size and right foot.
