Looking for a forby around twenty thou. interested in 100 series land cruiser or patrol. pro's and con's for both would be grately appreciated. cheers

Well I would say Toyota but this is where the debate comes in it is just like saying Holden or Ford I would look a price comparison service and availability of parts and spares if you go to

If these are the only two vehicles you are looking at then I would buy a 4.2 diesel Patrol and have a few more dollars to throw at accessories compared to an equivalent
miles and age Cruiser. Both will take you to your limits if you are a novice 4wd'r.
If you are buying brand new then my opinion changes heaps (just for interest sake as I know you say you are not)
