How do I turn off my ad in the trader section of this site. I have sold my camper trailer but cannot figure how to post the sold sign. Can anyone help?
By the way what a great way to sell. $15 an ad and thousands of hits, beats local newspapers let me tell you.

Open your trader add and there should be an icon that allows you to indicate that it is sold. It will display that it is sold for 2 further weeks from memory. If that doesn't work send David feedback and he'll fix it for you.

Cheers Kev

Kev, that map at the bottom of your page, the pale yellow woosy picture. Is the pointy bit up the top some sort of escape hatch?

2 ways.

When you placed the ad you should've received an email in confirmation and it would've had a link you could click on.

Otherwise, hit the button in the ad to send enquiry (to yourself) and you will receive a email, part of which will ask you has the item been sold.

Too easy

Hi Jim.
Have to agree with your comments. I recently sold my camper trailer on this site.
I cancelled the add by using the section in the email received from David.

Thanks for the advice. Have tried all of the below but there must be a glitch somewhere. The system keeps throwing up an icon saying that the ad is not mine.
I shall hand it over to admin.

Have you altered the email address from the one that you lodged the ad' through? EG: did you submit the ad at work and are trying to cancel at home etc?

If i view my listing, there is an edit button available. If i open the advert, at the bottom i can tick "sold".

However there is no way i can find to just withdraw the advert. Last time i wanted to withdraw, i had to say sold even though the item was not sold, just withdrawn.

I agree, good focused advertising arena, but despite so many views, we have not received a direct contact enquiry for the Patrol as yet. My daughter is coming home this week, and will knock out the advert if she possibly can - doesn't want us to sell it!
