Forumites,
Firstly apologies to AndrewX, I think I wrote something in the wrong tone of voice, no offence meant.
In regard to responses thanks to all for your replies, I chased up the lead from Graeme re the Cross Country Vehicle club in Wellington NZ, Received a great reply from Mark W and Andrew F with all the information I required. I now have a document / procedure that I / we can use in future to assess members recovery points and their attachments. Torque settings bolt grades, positioning, reinforcement techniques etc etc. All good stuff. Not a legislative document but as close as you are going to get. Should sort a few of the issues out and also give us a clear guide lines as to what is acceptable and what isn't.
I couldn't get anything from any manufactures apart from Mitsubishi, then they weren't sure about putting stuff in an email.

Thanks to Mark W and Andrew F from the CCVC in NZ you're what 4 W Driving is about, on ya guys.

Keep the shiny side up

So what's the guts of the answer?

Geoff,
Landcruiser HDJ78,
Grey hair is hereditary, you get it from children. Baldness is caused by watching the Wallabies.

George,
I'm not sure about publishing this on the net. I asked the guys in NZ if I could print the paperwork in our cllub mag they said no problem, not sure about the internet. If you send me your email address I will email the document to you, I don't have a problem doing that. You can ask the guys any questions etc Send me a member message with you email address.

I'm assuming they sent you the 3 documents they publish on the internet under the Tow Hook section of their Trips section at:

Tow Hooks

No need to worry about MM now :-)
