Hi

Here goes
I just got myself a cheap Gps thingy off EBAY so did my brother.
When we turned them on tomtom came on the screen but they are called GPS gs-a326 model on the box?(there not tomtoms)
I started to play with mine on the tomtom home page site on the net while it was connected to the usb on the computer,And now i have no maps or it wont go to navigation when you hit the icon on the screen?
Can anyone please help me ?
Have i wiped the maps from the SD card?or will they still be there somwhere?
I will put a link here to the ebay site where they are so you can get an idea what i have http://cgi.ebay.com.au/New-3-5-GPS-...1QQcmdZViewItem
Thanks all any help will be great

all I can suggest is, do you have some way of seeing if the card still has the info on it? putting it in a digital camera and reading it that way, or a SD card slot on your computer? Maybe it was not genuine Tom Tom software and the website picked up on it and removed it as a community service? Maybe it was just a coincidence that it happened when you hooked it up, it could be a different problem all together. Try your brothers card in yours and see what happens.

Best of luck

Copy the info off your brother's card onto the laptop and then paste it on to your card. All should work then maybe?

Stu050 beat me to it, copy the info off your card into a new folder, on your computer. Wipe your card clean, copy the info off your brothers into a different folder and load that onto your card and see how you go. If it doesn't work you will still have all the info off both cards on your computer and it may be as simple as a dud card, replace that and its happy days.
