Its just so good with all the different cooking programs on the tv to find one where the cooking is done on an open fire or in the Cobb.

They fished and then did fresh shark fillets with a crust of chorizo sausage, bread, parmesan and herbs. It was simply put on an open fire on the beach in a dish covered with a foil lid and half way through they added coals to the top of the lid. It came out looking great.

They then put down overlapping bacon slices popped on what looked like a loin of lamb some herbs and rolled it all up and then baked it in a Cobb for 20 minutes.

Although they are not travelling around Oz the food and cooking ideas suit any country where outdoors and open fires are the go.

Would be great if an experienced camp cook did a t.v. show to help all of us newies who like easy to prepare but tasty food when we travel.

One of the better and funnier cooking shows for some time. Pity the series has finished.

I havent seen all of the series so I hope they do a repeat. Such interesting and out of the way places they go to and of course not many on sealed roads.

I was in hysterics as they mimicked the sea lions on the beach and then at the dancing after eating the cooking and the great shot when the camera panned the local children on the beach in giggles watching them.

I think its whats life is all about, travel, laughter, good food and company and arent we lucky we can find it everywhere as we explore oz or any other country with the right attitude.
