Just wondering if anyone has a 70 series v8 diesel with cruise fitted?
I have been told by the dealer that it is not a toyota cruise, but he thinks it is electronic(no cable). It is available through the dealer, but they can't or won't tell me too much about it.

It's probably an Autron Electronics cruise made in Australia they supply alot of the dealer fitted cruises, contact them on[url=http://www.autron.com.au], Rhys.

I had a Command Cruise put on my D22 Navara TD twincab, over 3 1/3 years back, from new ,,, never missed a beat, thats elactronic.
Also had one in my Commodore ( mechanical ) for 7 years , never a problem with either.
I highly recommend them

Cheers

Main reason for the Autron is that I have had an Autron cruise control on 2 Patrols (4.5 and 4.2) and they worked very well. The guys fitting out the new rig also recommended it as well.

Have a great weekend.

We're getting a new cruise control fitted to our 78 series onto which we had a turbo fitted. According to the guys we need a cruise control with a vacuum, not a cable which we currently have. Cable and turbo don't mix apparently. We're going to Finish Line in Adelaide. Here's their address for cruise info.
