Hi All,
I have been researching upgrading my current Nissan Patrol to a New Series 6 ST Model Patrol with the 3.0ltr diesel engine.
I have been told by a
well known supplier that this model Patrol with the new diesel engine can not fit a duall battery system after the
snorkel has been installed.
My question is to other Series 5 or Series 6 owners, and wondering what other "Fun Bits" have not yet been made to suit this new model.
I think I might be forced to stay with my current model Patrol if the new model can not be upgrade.
All advice greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance
TonyG

Can you please advise who the supplier was that told you this info, as I am in the last throws of buying one also and it would be handy to know this info beforehand.
Cheers Greg

Hi,
It was an A*B store
I do not know if this means that a dual battery system can not be installed, or just that they do not have one yet
Thanks

Pffft. Morons. I got an 05 series, which is the same as todays (unless they've brought the CRD motor in already-doubtful), and it has dual batteries (ARB) and a
snorkel (Non-ARB).
If in fact you are talking about the common rail 3lt, then I have no idea.

Hi Matt,
It is the common rail engine that is in the new patrol.
My 04 model Patrol has the previous 3.0 ltr diesel engine, which is the same as yours and I currently have a dual batter system under the bonnet.
Thanks
