I would hit them for it and see if they can come to you to fit it.
Or go to them and get then to put you up in resort style accomadation. (
Clare Country Club) is nice.
Regards Richard
Willem you havn't seen our wandering whistle from Warraweena have you?

What a load of twoddle Roach, not only didnt i have the Wandering Whistle last week, I havent seen it either, and neither did you!!!
You just concentrate on helping Willem, as it was you that touched my good work after it was certified and put your mechanical skills curse on it.
Sending him a cheque will help with his pain!!!

Hi Willy,
Glad to see you are back home after a safe trip to the north.
Don't know what you paid in Pirie, but are around $35 - $ 40 approx in
Jamestown.

Ahhh, that's where I've been going wrong!!!! I usually try to do most work on my Patrol (not that it ever needs "work" as such; more like tinkering.....but it's a waste of time trying improve on perfection....) first thing in the morning when I'm stone-cold sober.
I guess that means I should either start drinking when I get out of bed, or save my "work" until last thing at night before I go to bed. Actually, the latter option would probably be best, cos then i wouldn't be able to see what mistakes I was making (nor would anybody else)......;-))

Hey Willem, was it a winch solenoid or a dual battery deal as i am looking at sealed winch solenoids for my winch and if its the other use a cole-hersee unit from the states(good units)cheers Paul

TD100
It is the old type silver battery solenoid(the size of a small vegemite jar) to isolate the batteries.
You could possibly use them for the winch?
The new one is a Unipoint packaged in Qld. Probably Chinese made

Hang on a minute Willem, are you sure it wasn't a vegimite jar they used.......I heard something they said about it having a piece of string and another jar that Pesty and Rochie were trying to sell as a
satellite phone.

Nah no good for winch as they have 2 sets of contacts compared to 1 for the battery isolator, try a reputable auto spares place or auto lec they should have that brand or know where to get it.cheers Paul

Willie, I think Paul may be offering his winch solenoids to you instead of the Chinese one you have. A very generous offer. You would then have a backup, but would you need to operate the winch switch to make em work? ;-D))))
