Hey there fellow wanderers,

Can anyone point me in the direction of Biodielsel in Melbourne. I have just moved from WA where it is available virtually on every corner.

Want to keep doing my bit to keep the polar bears.

From OL Thread - but price is no differnt to normal diesel.. :(

I found a servo in Prahran last night that is an eco friendly one. It sells ethanol based petrol but more importantly to blends of biodiesel. It has a a B20 which is a blended low sulphur and biodiesel and a B100 which is I’m guessing a more biodiesel than fossil diesel blend. It is located at 118 High St Prahran just near the Chapel St corner. The price was the same as normal diesel (I filled up with the B20 blend) So far it seems to run smoother and it started much better this morning in my GU Patrol. I’ll be using this from now on and try and guage fuel consumption and seat of the pants performance changes. The guy running it is the president of the biodiesel club of Melbourne so get on board and support them I reckon. His website is www.conservo.com.au

SAFF - South Australian Farmers Fuel on the corner of Scorseby Road and Boronia Road, Boronia.

Its the only SAFF outlet in Melbourne at this time and sells Premium Diesel - 20% Bio (Canola) and Bio Diesel - 95% Bio (Canola).

3-4 cents cheaper

Yep! they live in Mt Waverley and as any one knows, peolple who live in Mt Waverley are a cut above the dregs and dross of the 4WD-ing world, such as Nissan owner/drivers, Roachies and Trevor (R)'s etc etc etc.

Now if you all drove a JEEP and Toyota like moi' and used SAFF Bio diesel 100 - what a perfect world it would be.

Now have a good week end all .
