About a month ago now i ask if anyone on here new anything about the cheap GPS on Ebay.No one really new much about them back then,Just wondering if anyone has had a chance to have a play with one yet?I have and mine is a peace of junk.The maps jump all over the place and cant be read.Anyone else had this happen to theirs?They are the navsoon 3775 that ebay are selling .The seller is called lotsall (user).
I am very interested hearing back from anyone thats got one or used one

sorry jonboy, have to agree with Doug on this one.

By the way Doug thanks for your advice regarding my GPS purchase.

I assesed my needs and ended up buying a runout navman pin 570 for $290. Its running oziexplorerCE and Shonky maps for out of town and the pre-loaded Navman software in town. Works well. Looked at the garmins, but it got down to price in the end.

Yep I did get stung as well and others from the contacts I've had via ebay.A real peace of crap.Exactly the same problem.Have you had any response from the seller.I haven't as yet.I will lodging a complaint with e bay to have this seller removed.

we bought a couple of cheapy ebay bluetooth gps for work and threw them out. crappy signal accuracy and strength and dud batterys

I ended up buying a Garmin gps10, works great.
doesnt have an external antenna socket though but seems to not really need it.

we also use garmin nuvi pda's ( i think thats what they are called ).
very very good build, with a built in gps ( flip up antemnna on the back like the pin's). only bad thing is only windows mobile 2003 on them. thinkthey have just been superceded so may be cheaper now ( we paid $900 each )
