Has anyone had any experience with an antenna called Auto-tune distributed by Aussievan Products in Perth?

Yes - if you mean the one they call Easy Tune. A plastic looking thing with telescopic rabbit ears on the end.
The rabbit ears are indoor quality - by third time I used it corrosion had started. Mine never rotated 360deg - it only ever went in the one direction. Last time I used it I was at Tweed Heads and thought the reception quality was pretty lousy and have since passed it on for somebody else to fiddle with. Only good point I found with the unit - It was easy to pack away.
For same money you can do a lot better (my opinion).

Cheers

rrrrrrrrrrrubbish and next to useless low quality
Digimatch Explorer does all Australian channels and new digital channels in both vertical and horizontal polarisation or cross polarisation. Only travelling type aerial can do that.

Thank you. I have a conventional antenna like the Digimatch Explorer and it's excellent but bulky. The attraction of the Easy Tune was its compactness and its built-in amplifier. During winter travels in WA, NT and Qld I also found its performance poor but Aussievan Products have been first-class in their attitude to my concerns although they maintain that sales and reports in WA have been excellent.

If you want something compact thy the DX Active Zone antenna. I have been using this for the last few months and it has been working well. I was using the Explorer but it was too bulky. I was using a model similar to the DX Active Zone that came from Jaycar, it worked well until it filled with water.
