They are definetly quieter than the honda BUT
mine runs like a two-stroke, huffin' & puffin' an' crankin' an' grindin' an' coughin' etc etc...
apparently that is how they are, just like a motor-boat going thru heavy swell....
yes yes yes, i spent two afternoons with ed & it is the second one im on....
yerr, they are good but for the first few days I was waiting for it to die..

Look at it this way - they run cooler in very hot weather, and thereby avoid fuel vapour locks, with the back cover off - you'll never have to worry about that again :-o).
