Does anyone know of a good servicing manual for a 1998 HZJ75 cruiser. Does anyone also have any idea whether there are any mechanics courses I can go looking into my own vehicle - I'm based in Perth.

Many Thanks

I've used the Gregorys for many years for the LandCruisers. they are the easiest to follow and read, and most of the diagrams are adequate.

Most service items are straightforward for your vehicle. Checking the valve clearances is relatively easy, but adjusting them is not - you may want to leave any adjustment to an expert. Same goes for the timing belt change - simple procedure that can cause major problems if you make a mistake.

I second the Gregorys. If you follow the directions in the Gregorys its fairly straight forward.
Basically ,its only the oil ,oil air and fuel filters, some grease on the steering joints and drive shafts

I have spent many hours making the Gregory's and Hanes all on one CD rom , I did send someone a copy a few weeks ago and asked if he liked it to send some dollars but seen nothing, so more freebies, If you really want to know what it's like ask Member Michael J in SA ,I gave him a copy then gave him the Updated version I made , he paid, it covers series 70/75 1990/99 80 1990/97.
Then I made another one that covers series 78/79 1998/04. 100 series 2000/04 105 series 1998/04

G'day Doug,

The CD is a work of art, and I'll second that which what Signman said........a hell of a lot of work went into it.

Kit, the manual is well worth paying for, I do not think you will be disappointed.

Doug, you could almost go into 'black market' business...lol

Nice and warm up there????

Cheers
Michael
