I intended to purchase a set of Aussie Truck Mirrors for my 2001 Prado. An accessory
shop let me try the cheaper but identical brand for fit, but owing to the moulding at bottom of door the bracket on the strap wont reach the metal part of door base. If it is attached to just the plastic moulding it will warp the plastic when tensioned up. I am keen on this type of mirror over the ones mounted on the car mirror. Any fixes?

If you go to Camec, you can buy the straps for Aussie truck mirrors with the wider bracket suitable for a Prado. They cost me $10.

If you ring AUSSIE TRUCK in
ADELAIDE they have a larger U bracket they will send them to you for nothing they did it for me
