Mark,
We were there in July and thought it was fine. The
toilets were cleaned every day. Very few Barra though because of the cold snap at that time of the year.
Cheers,
Al-one

Hi Al,
What dates were u at the Roper? I was there from the 4th to the 7th in a Silver Pajero with my dad, who was in a white GU Patrol... We might have crossed paths without even realising...
Cheers, Brad

Hi Mark,
I also was up there in july this year & as Al-one said above, the
toilets are cleaned every day, the facilities were good & u can even get Next G mobile phone coverage if u go up the
hill behind the
shop... Like Al said also though, not much fish at that time of year, but hopefully you'll get some
Cheers, Brad

Hi Mark
As my son (littleborgy) said we were there earlier this year , i try to get there every year cause its a great spot to
camp and at times the fishing is excellent ( unfortunatley not so this year) and if you happen to be a pensioner dont forget to ask for reduced rates for
camping fees, the buggers wont tell you this unless you ask .....anyway enjoy your trip , wish i was back there ........Cheers.......Dave

Mark
No Cherabin, but I was only there for 2 days, so didnt have a chance to have a good crack at them or the fish. Were plenty of peopole camped at the
free camp on the river, so imagine they must be getting something. I had better luck at King Ash bay near boorooloola with a nice 40cm barra taken and eaten. :-)))
No crab though. :-(
